A New Vision

Hello and welcome! We are siblings who began our accounting and financial careers a few years ago, ready to climb the corporate ladder and create meaningful change. We soon recognized a glaring and impactful gap in proper employment that was creating a lack of efficiency, employee burnout, stagnant growth, and dissatisfaction among clients. Instead of accepting the concept that failed recruitment would forever be our reality, we decided to become active participants in the solution. We believe in the power of good people are share the vision of a brighter future for the accounting industry.

The Bridge Recruiting was founded on the belief that careers matter, and businesses rise or fall to the level of their employees. According to a recent AICPA survey, 63% of CPA firms identified finding high quality, efficient, and satisfied tax preparers or CPAs as their greatest challenge. Additionally, we discovered that 81% of generation z prefers a flexible work environment, while 72% actively seek hybrid employment options. We strive to create a beautiful blend of meeting industry needs while also understanding the shifting expectations within our newest generation of employees. Cheree Stauffer

In early 2024, Cheree began serving as operations manager at an accounting firm in Rock Hill, SC. Her desire was to alleviate the administrative burden for CPAs and standardize firm processes. Having joined during the busiest months of tax season, she daily faced the employment difficulties that have plagued the understaffed and overworked accounting industry. After training current staff in accounting processes and adjusting employee schedules, she recognized the true value in providing optimal environments and job opportunities for tax professionals. She commits herself to blending high quality jobs with high quality candidates- understanding that professional growth can only occur when work outcomes are mutually beneficial.

She believes that firms thrive when they create clear and attractive employment vision for themselves and all future hires. Our true potential is exemplified when we work together toward a common goal.

Terrell Stauffer

Terrell’s recruiting story begins in 2022 when his wife became a CPA and part owner of a small accounting firm in Rock Hill, SC. The process of finding quality employees became an almost immediate difficulty and, at times, felt nearly impossible. He quickly realized that the seasonal needs of an accounting firm required a shift in employment expectations and regular audits of firm efficiency. Watching his wife struggle to maintain confidence and motivation in the hiring process, he vowed to find employment solutions that would maximize profit potential for firms and appeal to a variety of hard-working job seekers.

As a CFP and current financial advisor, Terrell has dedicated his career to optimizing client outcomes and truly caring for people, their money, and their business. He is client focused and business minded- your success is his success.
